More Time with Family

Yesterday afternoon we went to Great Grandpa and Great Grandma Van Heukelum's house to visit family.  Mary's cousin Brad and his family were in town visiting (from New York).  We haven't seen them since Rebecca was about 2 months old!  It was fun to catch up and see how big their kids have gotten.  And meet Elijah for the first time.  Mary's parents and brothers were there as well.  The kids had fun playing together once they got warmed up.  After visiting the farm Mary's brother, SIL and nephew came over for dinner and visiting.  This is the 4th time Rebecca and Carson have gotten to play together in the last couple months.  They are loving it!  They just have so much fun together.  And we have so much fun watching them.  We remembered to turn on the music last night.  So they just danced and danced.  I don't even know if they took out a single toy.  They have too much fun dancing, running and giggling.  They took a litlte break to read with Aunt Sara.  Then Carson showed us a few soccer moves while Rebecca started pedaling her bike...their little sports break :)  Then it was back to dancing.  Another fun Saturday afternoon/evening with family.

Aside from time with family we've been enjoying lots of play time at home.  Plus gymnastics, Kindermusik, MOPS, trips to the library, Little Lambs and playdates.  Rebecca is starting to look so big!  We have gotten many comments recently about how tall she looks.  And her pants are getting short.  She has even started to wear 4T clothes.  Our litlte girl isn't so little.  She is definitely looking and acting more like a 3 year old.  Only 1 1/2 months to go until her birthday!

We're also busy getting ready for baby #2.  Slowly but surely we're getting out the baby clothes and baby gear.  Funny how quickly you forget how much "stuff" a baby needs :)  Only 10 weeks to go.  We're all very excited to meet this baby.
