It's February...and we're sick of winter :P So for something fun earlier this week we played with water! It would be more fun outside (in 80 degree weather), but this will have to do for now. I set up a little water table for Rebecca using various pans, dishes, cups and spoons. She thought it was so cool! She played intently for 45 min. straight. And she would have kept going, but Mommy had to clean up and start dinner. It was great practice for her with pouring, cause and effect, spilling... :P And it gave her some more practice with her spoons. She liked drinking the water from her spoon...."mmm, water." It may not be the same as splashing in the water outside, but it will do for now. Maybe we'll do it again today. And I think we'll try it with things other than water too...rice, oats, who knows. Rebecca will love anything she can poor, mix and possibly munch :)
