Last Wednesday we took our annual family trip to Michigan's Adventure. This year Abram was able to ride a few things with Rebecca. And Rebecca is now tall enough for a few of the bigger rides. She rode her first roller coaster!! First Mary and Rebecca did the kid's coaster. Rebecca was nervous, but she did well. At the end of the day we decided to try the full size coaster, Zach's Zoomer. Again, Rebecca was hesitant but she did great! No crying or anything. And she said she had fun when we got off. Maybe she'll share Mary's passion for roller coasters at some point :) Rebecca really didn't seem to mind the actual ride. She just hates the noise of the coaster...she has always hated loud noises. She doesn't even like the noise of the kid's rides.
As usual we started the day with some rides. Then we took a break for a tailgate lunch in the van. After lunch Justin and Rebecca hit the water park. Mary walked around with Abram in the stroller for nap time. After nap Mary and Abram joined Rebecca in the kids' area of the water park while Justin tried some larger water slides.
We were all well sunned and worn out after being in the water all afternoon. We got our required twist waffle cone for the family to share :) Then went on a few more rides and headed home. It was a fun day!

Looks like you guys had a blast! I bet it was so fun that Abram can join in this year! Hopefully it'll work out that we can meet you guys there another day this summer.
It was fun. Let us know if there is a day in August that works for you. A weekday is definitely best. We had basically no lines at all on a Wednesday.
