Gymnastics and Snow

Justin had a vacation day on Monday for MLK Jr. Day, so he was able to go to gymnastics with us...and help take pictures :)  Rebecca enjoyed showing Daddy all the things she is learning (although she was still very clingy to Mommy).  Here are some pictures of a typical day at gymnatics.
 Starting out with the limbo.
 Then some stretching.
 Rebecca's favorite...the big trampoline.
 Trying a cartwheel.
 Straddle jumps.
 Forward roll.
 Bar work.
 Balance Beam.
 Frist time on the vault.
 Climbing up the wall.
 And flipping over the bar.
 Swinging.
Finishing class in the foam pit as always.
Stamps with the letter of the week.
 And finally our cheer.

In the afternoon Rebecca spent some time outside in the snow with Daddy.  Soon after the neighbor came out to play.  Can you tell who is who?  Rebecca and Eva have the same coat :)

Looks like gymnastics is tons of fun!! I wish Kevin would let up and let Carson do a gymnastics class, he would love it, I think!

He would totally love it! Right now our class is all girls. But I see plenty of other little boys there for other classes. It's great for development. Tell Kevin to get over his phobias :P Little boys that do gymnastics or cook are not feminine :P

I wish he'd get over it, too. I know lots of little boys that are/were in gymnastics when they're little. I think Kevin is just scared he'll love it too much and want to stick with it forever, or something. Kevin has some different views of what he wants Carson to do... he wasn't even crazy about soccer... saying it's too "sissy." I think soccer is a great sport for boys (and equally for girls, too). Carson and I won that one, though, and Carson starts soccer next week! I think Kevin is actually excited about it now that I signed him up... though I doubt he'll admit it! haha! :)

It looked like there was a little boy in the cheer pic. Is he not in the class normally?

That boy is a few years older...he's the brother of a little girl in the class. He does stuff with us, though.
