A Trip to the Library and a Fashion Show

Yesterday morning we didn't have any plans because the dishwasher repair guy was coming...at some point.  He ended up coming just after 9 and only staying about 10 min.  Long enough to tell us that the motor on our dishwasher is broken and it will cost a lot to fix it (which means now we are browsing for a new dishwasher).  After he left we had a whole morning with nothing to do.  So Rebecca and Mommy walked to the library.  Rebecca had a blast as always.  She loves playing with the train table.  She also enjoys the puzzles, blocks, puppets and magnet letters.  And the books of course.  We checked out 10 books.  We've already read through all of them multiple times, and she has some of them half memorized already.  She goes around reciting them :)  Rebecca really didn't want to leave.  She started running around the library trying to escape Mommy.  Hopefully we can start getting to the library more regularly now that the weather is warmer and we can walk.

Now that it's warmer, and rainy, it's time to think about spring outdoor gear.  We took out Rebecca's coats and hats yesterday to try on.  Thankfully they all still fit!  Or I should say they actually fit this year :)  We don't have to roll the sleeves on the jackets, and they aren't down to her knees.  As usual Rebecca had fun running around the house in coats and hats...hamming it up as usual.  It's tough to get a normal smile these days.  If you tell her to smile she closes her eyes and opens her mouth.  She thinks it's cute.  Hopefully in the next week or two we can go shopping for rain boots and some new sneakers.  Then Rebecca will be all set.

Looks like you guys have a really nice library! Carson loves the library, too. Its such a great place - and free! Does your library do lots of kids activities - crafts and story times? Ours does lots of fun stuff, unfortunately we only ever make it on my days off and we miss out on a lot during the days I work.

That is such a cute rain coat!

They do have a lot of activities. We have yet to go, though. I need to sign up for the toddler story time.

My dad got Rebecca that coat last year for her birthday. So cute! I'm so glad it still fits.
