Happy Thanksgiving

Happy Thanksgiving!!  We have so much to be thankful for, including a healthy little girl and a loving family.  And we spent our Thanksgiving with both :)  Wednesday we celebrated as a family with a traditional turkey dinner.

Rebecca sure loved the turkey!  She would hardly eat anything else.  The stuffing came in 2nd ;)  And although she's generally a great veggie eater we're finding that so far she's not much of a veggie casserole or potato fan.  She likes her greens...and with no fillers :)

Thursday morning we went to church.  In the late afternoon we went to Mary's Aunt Marcia's house to celebrate with some extended family.  Some of our relatives that live far away were in town, so it was nice to get to see them.  Rebecca got to play with Maggie (Mary's cousin's daughter), who is just two days younger than she is.  They didn't interact too much, but it was still fun to see them together.  We shared good food and good conversation.  It was a great way to spend Thanksgiving.

We are looking forward to seeing all of the Hollebooms this weekend as we head to Grand Blanc for a wedding and to stay with Grandpa and Grandma.

Rebecca looks so grown up in her boots! Love the doll afghan - it matches the one you got for Rebecca before she was born, doesn't it? Too cute!

It does match. Not sure if my grandma intended that or not. But it's cute.
