We've been looking for a while for a way to get Rebecca involved in learning and interacting with other kids. After some research and talking to Grandma Voogt (who has a teaching degree in music and is working on becoming licensed in Kindermusik) we have decided to do Kindermusik. Rebecca and Mary will be doing the Wiggle and Giggles class (for ages 18m - 3 years) this fall/winter on Wed. mornings. It will be fun to see Rebecca interact with other toddlers and learn how to play all kinds of instruments!! And Mary will get to meet other moms in the area. We can't wait!!

Kindermusik

Yeah! I'm sure Rebecca will love this!! I've read about Kindermusik and had contacted our local programs about it a couple months ago when we were thinking of doing something like that this summer. Its pretty much the same cost as it the class at Flint Institute of Music was, but this sounds way more fun/interactive with instruments at least. I think the local folks put me on their emailing list for updates once they decide on their schedules for upcoming classes, so maybe one will end up fitting into our schedule in the fall. We'll see. I'm thinking Carson might be more suited to the tumbling class now. :) But we're going to do swim classes at the Y for sure since he loves swimming so much.
