Christmas Cookies

Rebecca helped Mommy make Christmas cookies Sat. and Sun. She really liked putting her fingers in the dough and frosting the cookies. And she made a special cookie for Daddy :) She got to try a little piece. I don't think she was quite sure about the texture since she's never eaten anything not pureed, but she seemed to like the taste. We'll be trying more "solid" foods this week. Rebecca finally cut her fourth tooth, so she has 2 on top and 2 on bottom. Sufficient for chewing :)

There are more cookie pictures in the December photo album.

Looks like a fun time! Very cute, too! If all goes as planned today, I'm hoping to whip up a batch of sugar cookie dough and make some cut-outs with Carson, too. We'll see how it goes. Kevin isn't feeling too hot today, so I've been on my own most of the day.

Cute shoes in the albums, too! :) Carson has a pair like that, too. They're perfect to wear indoors and prevent lots of slipping on the wood floors. Did you get yours at Target? I've been looking for a pair that are black or navy, but haven't found them in Carson's size yet. Just have brown ones for now. They have some at BRU, too, I guess. So maybe I'll have to look there. I just don't want to spend the more expensive price for the name brand Robeez if I can find them cheaper elsewhere. :)

BTW, do those little white ballet style shoes fit Rebecca yet?

I did get the shoes at Target. They were by all the socks. In the shoe section they have lots of shoes for babies. I just got the slipper (Robeez) things. Don't need shoes for a while :) I haven't tried on the ballet slippers in a bit. The last time I did they were still too big. I'll have to try again soon. They don't match Christmas outfits, though (pink and red) :) Maybe after the holidays.
