Wordless Wednesday

2010 Garden

Our garden is planted!!! Thanks to Justin :) He graciously took some time away from his studies to plant the rest of the garden yesterday...in the almost 90 degree weather. We have a good system...he plants and picks, I prepare and preserve :) But hopefully this year I'll be able to help with more of the upkeep since Rebecca is older...she can either help or play on her own a bit so I can work in the garden. We've already been enjoying asparagus, spinach, lettuce and rhubarb (had some awesome strawberry rhubarb bread for breakfast today!). Our strawberries are growing and will hopefully be ready soon. So excited to see how things grow this year with our extended garden.  And we're looking forward to having Rebecca help and learn all about gardening/good food as she grows.

Kindermusik

Last Wednesday was our last day of Kindermusik for the semester.  It'll be strange not having class until September!  Rebecca will really miss it.  For our last class each sememster we have a family night.  The whole family is invited.  We do some of our favorite songs, stories, instruments, etc.  Then we chat while having a snack (we all bring something to share).  We had so much fun.  And it was neat to see everyone's families.  We finally remembered to bring our camera.  So here are a few Kindermusik pictures.  There are more in the May album.  We've loved our first 2 semesters of Kindermusik.  Rebecca adores Miss Lynette.  We'll miss our friends and our special music time this summer.  We're looking forward to September already when we'll be learning about milk and cookies :)  Kindermusik has been a wonderful way to introduce Rebecca to so many things.  She loves to dance, sing and play all kinds of instruments.  It's a blessing to have this so close to home.  And we hope to stay involved for years to come.

It's been a while since we've had any updates.  And then last week the hard drive on our pc died.  So we couldn't even update photos.  But we're up and running now.  Here is a quick recap of what we've been up to lately:
